Spirit of Reading 2014-2015

The Alaska Spirit of Reading is a statewide book discussion program which this year is featuring storyteller Crit Callebs.

Crit Callebs

How Does It Work?

This year's program features Native American animal and trickster stories. Book sets are available for lending from the Spirit of Reading Program. Once you are finished with the book sets, we will ask you to send them on to another site.

Please contact us at mail@akspiritofreading.com to reserve a lending book set.

Several exciting activities, including a storyteller visit, are being planned for participating sites. Rural students will be able to participate in statewide radio call-in and teleconference programs with the author.
